Privacy policy
Last updated: 9 October 2026
ApkRunner (the website apkrunner.com and the Chrome extension "Android Emulator Online") runs Android apps and web pages on cloud devices for you. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it. Contact: [email protected].
What we collect
- Your Google account basics — email address, name and Google account ID, when you sign in with Google. We never see your Google password.
- Usage of the service — your sessions (start and end time, length, Android version, screen, plan, the address of a page you chose to open, the package name of an APK you uploaded), and the minutes you used.
- Files you upload — APK files, to install them on your session's device.
- Technical data — IP addresses (to limit abuse, e.g. how many accounts are created from one address a day) and server logs.
What we do not collect
- Your browsing. The extension can read the address of the tab you are on so the side panel can offer to open it. It reads it only while the panel is open, keeps it in your browser, and sends it to us only when you press "Open on Android" (or use the right-click menu or shortcut).
- What you do on the cloud device. The screen and input stream between your browser and the device; we do not record it. Screenshots and recordings you take are saved on your computer only.
How long we keep it
- Uploaded APKs: deleted after one hour.
- The cloud device and everything on it: discarded when the session ends.
- Account and session records: while your account exists; we delete them within 30 days after you ask.
- Server logs: up to 30 days.
Why we use it
To run the service you asked for (performance of a contract), to count free and paid minutes, to keep the service safe and prevent abuse (legitimate interest), and to tell our small team that someone started a session or wanted to pay, so we can watch capacity and follow up on problems (legitimate interest).
Who processes it for us
- Hetzner Online (Germany and Finland) — servers that run the service and the cloud devices.
- Cloudflare — DNS, network protection and delivery of the website.
- Google — sign-in.
- Telegram — internal notifications to our team (they include your email address and what you started).
- A payment provider, once paid plans open; it will process your payment details, which we never see.
We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, its correction or its deletion, and object to its use, by writing to [email protected]. If you are in the EU or UK you can also complain to your data protection authority.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update the date above and tell signed-in users in the extension.
